Our Story
WandleDesigns started with a simple frustration: why were quality design tools so expensive? As a team of designers who met at a creative agency in San Francisco, we constantly needed tools for color palettes, image optimization, and quick design tasks. Every solution we found was either paid, watermarked our work, or limited in features.
In 2020, during the pandemic lockdowns, we decided to do something about it. We pooled our savings, aligned our schedules around our day jobs, and started building WandleDesigns in our spare time. Our goal was ambitious but clear: create a suite of professional-grade design tools that anyone could use for free, forever.
Today, WandleDesigns serves over 10,000 designers, developers, and creators every day. What started as a side project in a spare bedroom has grown into a mission we pour our hearts into. We're proud to offer 50+ tools, 30+ in-depth articles, and a growing collection of resources—all completely free.
